I feel inspired by getting outside to do some spring downhill skiing in the mountains. I created this painting to try to capture the feeling of the cold air and snow, but the warmth of the sun on your skin. It reminds me of many spring ski days where the snow is heavy and thick as the sun starts melting it. I made this piece to feel the movement of downhill skiing on a warm spring afternoon, with long tree shadows cast on the snow. I created it as a piece for fellow skiers to enjoy in their home or office.
