I was inspired by a herd of wild horses that I had the opportunity to spend some time observing, so I created this large scale painting of the herd joyfully moving together across the golden meadow under the setting sun. It reminds me of the long days of late summer, with rich warm tones and golden light. I made it to feel powerful and passionate. I created it with a Western themed commercial space in mind to accommodate its presence and Alberta roots. Available for purchase.
